Subscription & Refund Policy


This Subscription & Refund Policy describes the plans available for the BGeometrics Bitcoin Data API, the billing conditions, and the refund process. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms set out below.

The free tier of the API (8 requests/hour · 15 requests/day) is available without any payment or subscription. This policy applies exclusively to paid plans.

Available Plans
BGeometrics API Subscription Plans
The BGeometrics Bitcoin Data API is available on the following tiers:

Free: 8 requests/hour · 15 requests/day · No payment required · No registration required for charts

Paid plans: Higher request limits per hour and per day, access to all API endpoints, and priority support. Full details and up-to-date pricing are available at bitcoin-data.com/bguser/pricing.

BGeometrics reserves the right to modify plan features, request limits, or pricing at any time with reasonable prior notice.
Billing & Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected) starting from the date of the first payment.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• The renewal charge is applied to the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
• You will receive a receipt by email for each successful charge.
• If a renewal payment fails, access to the paid tier will be suspended until payment is resolved. We may retry the charge automatically before suspending access.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard at bitcoin-data.com.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full paid-tier access until that date.
• After cancellation, your account automatically reverts to the free tier (8 req/hour · 15 req/day). No data or API key is deleted.
• Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period. See the Refund Policy section below.
Refund Policy
BGeometrics offers refunds in the following circumstances:

Eligible for refund: You may request a full refund within 7 days of an initial subscription charge or a renewal charge if you have not made any API requests under the paid plan during that period.

Discretionary refunds: Outside the 7-day window, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Factors considered include duration of use, number of API requests made, and whether a technical issue on our side prevented normal use of the service.

Not eligible for refund: Partial billing periods, charges for periods already consumed, and cases where the API was used normally under the paid tier.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the charge:

Please include the following information in your request:
• The email address associated with your account.
• The date and amount of the charge.
• The reason for the refund request.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Payment Methods
BGeometrics accepts the following payment methods:

Lightning Network (Bitcoin): Instant, permissionless Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network. This is our preferred and recommended payment method. Payments are final and non-reversible by nature of the protocol.

Other methods: Additional payment options may be available depending on the plan. Details are shown at checkout on the pricing page.

We do not store credit or debit card details. All card transactions are handled by our payment processor under PCI-DSS compliance.
Lightning Network Payments
Payments made via the Bitcoin Lightning Network are instant and irreversible by design. Due to the non-custodial nature of Lightning payments:

• Once a Lightning invoice has been paid and the subscription activated, the payment cannot be reversed at the protocol level.
• Refund requests for Lightning payments that meet the eligibility criteria above will be processed as a credit to your account or as an equivalent Lightning payment back to you, at our discretion.
• BGeometrics is not responsible for funds sent to an incorrect Lightning address or invoice provided by the user.
Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account dashboard.

Upgrades: Take effect immediately. Any unused portion of your current billing period may be prorated towards the new plan, depending on the payment method used.

Downgrades: Take effect at the start of the next billing period. You retain your current plan's features until the end of the paid period.

Downgrade to free: Cancelling or downgrading to the free tier takes effect at the end of the current billing period as described in the Cancellation section.
Suspension & Termination
BGeometrics reserves the right to suspend or terminate a paid subscription without refund in the following cases:

• Violation of the Terms and Conditions, including abuse of the API (e.g., circumventing rate limits, reselling API access).
• Fraudulent payment or chargeback initiated by the user.
• Any activity that poses a risk to the security or integrity of the platform or its other users.

In cases of suspension due to a technical error on our side, BGeometrics will offer a prorated credit or refund for the affected period.
